Hi, I'm Martha Rose! My middle name comes from my Auntie Rosey, who owned an art shop whilst I was growing up. It's no surprise that I ended up with a paintbrush in my hand too!

By day, I work full-time for the NHS. By evenings, weekends and every spare moment in between, you'll find me painting away, with a cup of coffee nearby and a growing list of ideas waiting to be brought to life.

I've painted for as long as I can remember, but it wasn't until returning from my travels in 2025 that I truly discovered my love for it. What began as a way to unwind, quickly became an obsession. I enjoy experimenting with different themes and styles, but I always come back to the same thing: whimsical creatures and the stories they seem to tell!

Using gouache paint on 350gsm watercolour paper, I create gentle, story-led artwork designed for nurseries, children's bedrooms and family spaces. My dream is to paint full-time, so until then, I'm building this little business around my day job, sketching early mornings, painting late evenings and weekends, and pouring as much of myself into it as I can. Every print, painting, follow, share and kind message helps me move one step closer to that goal.
